Intel was not the only company with something to announce this morning. Numerous manufacturers have taken advantage of the launch of the new Core processors to update their gaming catalogs, highlighting among them the participation of MSI with the GT75 Titan. This portent of equipment (both technically and physically) has wanted to take special prominence to be the first laptop to integrate a Core i9 processor, although its technical data is remarkable for more reasons.

With a 17.3-inch IPS screen, the GT76 Titan can be chosen in UHD (3840×2160) or Full HD resolutions, at least the latest one with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Its resounding chassis gives shelter not only to the aforementioned processor Intel Core i9 45 W and up to 32/64 GB of DDR4 memory, but also to various graphics options, including a GeForce GTX 1080 card, a GTX 1070 or two GTX 1070 cards in SLI.

The storage options contemplate up to two M.2 SSDs or combinations between SSD and conventional hard disk. At the port level, there is nothing less than five USB 3.1 of conventional size, a USB-C with Thunderbolt 3, an HDMI output and a Mini DisplayPort. An Ethernet Killer DoubleShot Pro 10 Gbps card is also present as a complement to the Wi-Fi AC 1500.

As with the tradition in the higher-end MSI equipment, the keyboard is signed by SteelSeries and has RGB lighting. It is integrated on a large chassis characterized by the air outlets (almost nozzles) necessary to ventilate the heat generated inside.

Other updated models to Intel Core 8th Gen

Along with the GT75 Titan, MSI has also unveiled updated versions of the huge GT83 Titan, with MX Cherry Red mechanical keyboard, capacity for up to two GTX 1070/1080 SLI cards and now equipped with the latest Intel Core i7 processors. Equipped with an IPS Full HD 18.4 inch panel, it is one of the largest gaming laptops on the market.

The GT63 Titan follows in the list of updates. Already in a more manageable 15.6 inches (UHD IPS or FHD at 120 Hz with unknown panel), this equipment also pays for the new Intel Core i7 chips, complementing them with a GeForce GTX 1070 or 1080 card, as well as space for an M.2 SSD and a 2.5-inch hard drive. Like the GT75 Titan, the keyboard is SteelSeries.

Finally, MSI has unveiled the GS65 Stealth Thin. This 15.6-inch notebook stands out for integrating an “IPS-category” Hull HD panel with a 7-ms latency and a refresh rate of 144 Hz in a device with almost no frames. It has an Intel Core i7 not specified, graphics GeForce GTX 1060/1070 and design much more pampered than other gaming laptops, at least if what prizes are the discretion.

Model P65 Creator is equipped with a 15.6-inch screen. MSI will offer versions with Full HD panel (1920 × 1080 pixels) and 4K UHD (3840 × 2160 pixels). In all cases, almost 100% coverage of the sRGB color space is provided.

Depending on the configuration, a discrete graphics accelerator NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q (8 GB), GeForce RTX 2060 (6 GB) or GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Max-Q (6 GB) is used. Laptops are equipped with DDR4-2666 RAM. It is possible to install a solid-state module M.2 with a PCIe Gen3 or SATA interface.
