The MultiVersus Season 1 update has finally been released, bringing with it a vast array of changes to the overall experience as well as the performance and quality of life. The current MultiVersus Season 1 patch notes contain a lengthy list of fixes that solve several problems from the Open Beta test period. The character balancing adjustments have greater significance.
The official patch notes include information on the enhancements, changes, and alterations made to the multiplayer fighting game. Here are some of the most substantial changes noted in the patch notes for the MultiVersus Season 1 update.
MultiVersus Season 1 update – First half patch notes
Player First Games significantly changed several of the characters, nerfing some who had become excessively dominant in the control of the players while enhancing those who were underwhelming.
The targets that call for you to defeat competitors in specific regions of the screen are among the various seasonal goals that have been nerfed. In order to reach the corresponding objectives, the top, bottom, and side have each been decreased from 75 to 50. Regarding changes made, the season 1 update ultimately introduced a lot of character changes. Arya Stark and Wonder Woman have received boosts, but Bugs Bunny has received a predicted nerf.
LeBron however has received a great boost, with his Ground Side Attack being more reliable and numerous moves diverging early for improved combo potential. In contrast, with the Season 1 update, the Iron Giant has experienced the greatest nerf.
Gameplay system changes
Ice Debuff: Movement speed slow at 1 stack is now 15% instead of 20%.
Slow now increases linearly with each Ice Debuff stack.
An issue that caused Ice Debuff-affected combatants to experience more knockback is now fixed.
Ability Cooldowns: A glitch where cooldowns wouldn’t activate properly if used close to Jake has been fixed.
Changes to Battle pass
Battle Pass XP has been changed, now awarding 10 points for victories and five points for defeats. In comparison to the previous five and three points, respectively, this represents an increase. Several seasonal milestones now only demand 50 assists rather than 125, which is a reduction from the previous threshold of 125.
The patch will be split into two halves. August 15 saw the arrival of the first, and shortly thereafter the second would follow (probably in the next few days). However, the majority of the changes will be included in the August 15 MultiVersus Season 1 update. The full patch notes are available to players on the MultiVerusus website.
