We’ve seen a lot of companies launching their products at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) event in Barcelona. Now, Asus has scheduled its press event for Tuesday evening local time to launch its all-screen smartphone. The company has just unveiled its trio on stage at the event. It introduced 3 new models, Zenfone 5 lite, Zenfone 5 and Zenfone 5Z.
As according to the reports so far Asus Zenfone 5 Lite is to have a 6-inch display. In terms of camera, it will have dual rear and dual front camera, with “ZenUI 5” interface and several customs “AI” features from Asus.
For Zenfone 5 it will have the same features as Zenfone 5 lite with some added features as Notch screen design, and Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 CPU powered, with 6GB RAM, “Zen Emoji” feature, similar to iPhone X’s Animoji. It will also have a rear fingerprint reader. As per reports, it will be available from April 2018.
For the model Zenfone 5Z, it has all the features of Asus Zenfone 5 along with added features like it will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 CPU, with up to 8GB RAM, internal storage of 128GB and 256GB versions. The novelty is expected to be available from this year’s June.
It is still unclear whether the 5 model will sport an advanced 3D facial recognition system like the iPhone X’s Face ID, as it contains the notch design like the iPhone X. We are still in wait for the company to reveal some more specs of the models at the MWC event.
