Samsung’s highly anticipated Unpacked Event on August 11 is less than two weeks away, and we expect the firm to debut the Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3, and two smartwatches: the Galaxy Watch 4 and the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic.
There are two videos for the new smartwatches: one for the Watch 4, which will succeed the Active 2, and one for the more premium Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, which will succeed the Galaxy Watch 3.
So far, we know that the two smartwatches and the two foldable ones will be introduced on August 11 by the South Korean tech giant. Body Composition Analysis, Advanced Sleep, V02 Max, Blood Oxygen Monitoring, Heart Rate Monitor, and Sleep Monitoring are among the fitness and health monitoring capabilities expected for both smartwatches.
Both smartwatches will skip Tizen in favor of One UI Watch, a layer on top of Google’s Wear OS that promises a bigger app selection and speedier app loading.
The smartwatches are slated to hit the market on August 27, according to a recent leak from Amazon Canada, and their pricing has been revealed in CAD as follows: The Galaxy Watch 4 Classic’s 42mm version costs 427.73 CAD, while the Galaxy Watch 4 40mm Bluetooth version costs 309.85 CAD.
