It’s big time for Google to celebrate – YouTube Kids had grown up and turned 2 this week. According to the company, YouTube Kids is going to launch four brand new shows this spring as the kid’s app has become popular among families. Now families can explore a lot more content from DIY tutorials, and magic tricks to science experiments to explore.
These new series include DanTDM, Joe, and Cody of TheAtlanticCraft, popular twin music act L2M, and Fruit Ninja. This series has been created keeping the kid’s app in mind which the company has invested in the creator and will be available as a part of the YouTube Red subscription service. The service was a great success since the creators have been producing content for the family audiences and launched in India last year. The four series – Hyperlinked, DanTDM Creates a Big Scene, The Kings of Atlantis, and Fruit Ninja: Frenzy Force which the company announced will start this spring.
According to statistics, there are 8 million active users and 30 billion views per week which is an impressive response.
YouTube says they will soon announce the YouTube Kids app for Smart TVs so that kids and their family enjoy the shows and program on the bigger screen. The company is looking forward to the other new things in 2017.
