January is the month in which we’ll get to check out Resident Evil 2 Remake, but before that, Capcom is putting some of the promised news to the test.
New teaser and gameplay videos are now available on YouTube and on them are some new highlighted details about the weapons you’ll need to use on the game journey, such as Combat Knife, Shotgun, Rocket Launcher and more.
In addition to the classic horror of the franchise, the graphical polish of this is an update of the 1998 game. Planned for January 25, the remake will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
In the more robust version of the Microsoft platform, Xbox One X, the game will receive optimizations and most likely support for UltraHD. On Windows, it is good to keep in mind that it will take 8 GB of RAM, a Core i5 4460 or AMD FX 6300, and dedicated video card above Nvidia GTX 760 or AMD Radeon R7 260x to run this.
Remember, Resident Evil 2 Remake should still receive a one-shot demo early next month on consoles, allowing gamers to enjoy the game for 30 minutes.
The latest installment of the franchise is Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, released for the same consoles, and also Nintendo Switch, where it runs through Capcom’s cloud via subscription.
