A new WhatsApp beta that fixes chat bugs title, and settings to manage reaction notifications is on the way.
The American freeware, cross-platform centralized instant messaging and voice-over-IP service has revealed today that it has submitted a new update through the TestFlight beta Program, bringing the version up to 22.6.0.72.
The new upcoming version marked within WhatsApp Settings is 2.22.6.72.
According to the social media platform, the new WhatsApp beta for iOS 22.6.0.72 is introduced mainly for bug fixes in the chat title, and settings to manage reaction notifications for some beta testers.
Recall that after the release of the WhatsApp beta for iOS 22.6.0.70, some users reported that WhatsApp was not working properly, especially, when launching specific chats or group chats, the chat title, in particular, appears strange.
Moreover, some users were unable to open some chats because WhatsApp had crashed.
Given that the social media platform has finally fixed the difficulties and you can open those chats again after releasing the updated WhatsApp beta for iOS 22.6.0.72.
WhatsApp is one of the best smartphone apps for sending messages and media to Android users, and the previous beta made it more complicated than it needed to be. It’s encouraging to see that WhatsApp appears to have heeded user feedback and returned to a functional UI. For instance, WhatsApp’s version 22.4.0.72 beta was introduced to remove the media bar that allowed people quick access to photos and videos when trying to send them to friends and family.
However, certain users may notice settings to manage reaction notifications after updating to this version, which was already accessible in the latest WhatsApp beta for Android update.
If you see those new settings, it doesn’t mean you can already react to messages, but it could be an indication that message reactions will be available to iOS beta testers soon, so keep your WhatsApp version up to date and stay connected to Techgenyz for more frequent updates.
