The new era of PlatinumGames is about to begin. The studio is well known for its works on the flip of Bayonetta, The Astral Chain, and The wonderful 101. The studio is now confirmed that Nintendo doyen Takao Yamane will join PlatinumGames as its Vice President and Chief Business Officer.
The company mentioned that it would be a momentous change for the company’s future ventures. The news has been oven freshly dropped through Famitsu; further information will be shared in a forthcoming interview.
Takao’s previous expedition with Nintendo is immeasurable; before joining PlatinumGames, Takao Yamane served 27 years at Nintendo; he saw many peaks and valleys while helming the yacht. During the time, he enjoyed several high-level positions which include, including Vice President of Nintendo France and Managing Director of Sales at Nintendo of Europe.
As per the reports from Famitsu, PlatinumGames expects Yaname to work alongside the current President Atsushi Inaba and Vice President Hideki Kamiya in assisting the firm in accomplishing its sky-scraping missions.
