The company disclosed this today in a tweet via its official Twitter page and the website will be used for producing visual content using Nintendo IP.
According to the video game giant, the new website, Nintendo Pictures, aims to have consumers around the world learn about Nintendo characters through video and create unique videos that will remain in their memories forever.
Over the years, Nintendo has evolved to be one of the largest video game manufacturing companies in the world. The company’s Nintendo Switch was the best-selling video game console worldwide in 2021, selling over 25 million units across the globe. It was followed by the latest entrants to the market, the Sony PlayStation 5, which sold about 12.6 million units in 2021.
However, with this new website, Nintendo tends to continue challenging its capacity to provide unique and surprising images to customers worldwide, transcending generations and eras.
