The fans of the game The Legends of Zelda are quite eager to know more about the next installment of the game, the sequel to Breath of the Wild. However, Nintendo is being discreet about its next steps regarding the next chapter in the game. Nintendo launched the first gameplay trailer back in June, and nothing has been revealed about the game since. But a few online sources have tracked down some of the patents filed by the company, and the patents probably reveal some interesting information about the gameplay that is yet to be introduced. The next installment of The Legends of Zelda is scheduled to launch sometime in 2022.

Very recently, Nintendo has had three new game patents exposed, and some experts have commented that the details of the patents are very similar to those in the trailer of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2. The first patent filed under the World Intellectual Property Organisation carries the number 2020370175. This patent is related to moving through walls. Incidentally, in the trailer of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2, there was a picture of Link walking through the walls. The patent reveals that this action of walking through walls can be used anytime and anywhere. In other words, this particular action can be performed anywhere.

The second patent filed under the same organization carries the number 20210370178 and describes the environmental puzzles. The trailer revealed that Link gains the new ability to reverse the time of an object. Finally, the third patent carries the number 20210370179 is linked with free fall and how the users can take various actions during the fall.

Previously, Nintendo had revealed the trailer of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 at the E3 2021, which took place in June. The game is slotted to be launched in 2022.
