The new iPhone 13 lacks a handy noise-canceling feature for phone calls found on previous iPhone models. It was first assumed that its absence was due to a bug that Apple will soon repair; however, this does not appear to be the case.
According to one iPhone 13 owner, the capability has been removed from the latest iPhone generation, and it doesn’t appear to be returning.
For the past month, a rising number of customers have taken to internet forums to complain about why iPhone Noise Cancellation is no longer available in the Settings app on iPhone 13. It’s normally found under the Accessibility tab.
Some of the users have tried unsuccessfully to get an answer from Apple. However, after weeks of waiting, one has received a definitive response from Apple Support on Twitter – and it’s not good.
Information online revealed that the Phone Noise Cancellation isn’t accessible on iPhone 13 models; you won’t find it in Settings. Speaking about the development, an iPhone 13 user Steve told 9to5Mac that after working with Apple and a senior advisor for months, saying to wait for an update to fix the issue, I got an update regarding the issue.
“It won’t be fixed and noise cancellation is intentionally disabled,” – said Steve.
“Ok so to confirm you are saying it’s not a software bug or issue,” Steve replied. “That the iPhone 13 series of phones just do not support noise cancellation for phone calls.”
“That is right,” Apple Support responded before inviting Steve to provide input on the adjustment.

However, it is still vague why Phone Noise Cancellation was deleted from the iPhone 13, even though it’s still available on older iPhone models.
