The internet world has been sensationalized when HMD Global, now the current owner of the Nokia brand name announced the launch of the Nokia 6 in China last month. The company is in the news again as features of the upcoming Nokia 5 and the Nokia 3 leaked ahead of the launch. At the end of this month, the manufacturer HMD Global will release the Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 as its flagship at Mobile World Congress.
The Nokia Power User site has shown some details about the Nokia 3 smartphone though there is no official confirmation yet. The smartphone sports a 5.3-inch HD display, 1.4 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor, and Adreno 308 GPU powered by 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage.
On the camera part, Nokia 3 is expected to feature a 13 MP rear and a 5 MP camera on the front. We saw some earlier speculations on the device but the new leak is assumed to be more concrete when we consider specifications. Meanwhile, the budgeted phone is to run on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. One drawback of the device, it will not support a microSD card feature – hence users have to use the in-built storage option for capturing photos or saving songs. There is no news on the battery capacity so far – overall Nokia 3 is in the good books of what a user can expect in a low-cost phone.
There is no more information about Nokia 5 and we expect it will be wrapped with 4 GB RAM and Snapdragon 430 processor.
The price of these phones is expected to be 10570 INR ($158) for Nokia 3 and 14200 INR ($212) for Nokia 5. We have to wait for two more weeks to get more details once the phone is unboxed.
