The Nordic firm has presented a new mobile, which recovers one of the denominations of its old ranges, but now arrives with a totally different look. This is the new Nokia C1, a phone that could be understood as the new generation of Nokia 1, although it comes with a series of features.
HMD Global is achieving its best market shares in the low ranges, highlighting its featured phones that pull nostalgia. This combination is what they wanted to repeat with the Nokia C1, a device that offers basic smartphone functions at an affordable price.
Nokia sets the new floor of its catalog with the Nokia C1, which in addition to incorporating Android Go mounts a series of very basic features. And maybe that is demonstrated by a 1.3GHz quad-core brain, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and a microSD that only reaches the extra 64GB.

Also, the Nokia C1 features a 5.45-inch IPS LCD display screen with FWVGA resolution (apparently 854×480 pixels) and an internal 2,500 mAh battery with a charging speed of the only 5W. The Nokia C1 device comes with two cameras in total. In Nokia C1, a 5-megapixel front and a rear camera with the same resolution and f/2.4 lens autofocus and an LED flash are provided.
The new Nokia C1 comes with Android 9 Pie in its Google Android Go Edition and offers only 3G connectivity with its two SIM cards, in addition to WiFi 4, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, micro USB for uploading and transferring files. The device also comes with an FM radio and support for a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Nokia C1 smartphone is priced at KES 5,999 (around Rs 4,200). Its targeted markets will be Africa, the Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific region. The device will be available in only one variant of 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. It will come in two colors to choose from that includes red and black.
