HMD Global has already announced 4 new smartphones this year. All of them were announced at the Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona. According to the latest news, HMD Global is back again, this time with a mid-range smartphone. This device will most likely be introduced on April 27, 2018. The company has reportedly prepared teasers that were shown in a movie theatre, sporting the tagline ‘Share More Joy’. This upcoming model is reported to be the Nokia X.
Amidst all these, two unknown Nokia phones with model numbers TA-1099 and TA-1109 have been spotted in the database of the 3C certification site today. Both of them successfully received the 3C certification on April 16/ 17, 2018. The devices come with a charger supporting 10W charging output. These are expected to belong to the Nokia X series. No other details are revealed yet.
As it seems, we don’t have any options other than waiting for 27th April for its full specifications to be revealed. The Nokia X Series will initially be first introduced in China. Later on, HMD Global will concentrate on the market of few selected countries, including India.
