However, in the last few days, the device has received several leaks ranging from its design to specifications and operating system. Amazingly, today, the mobile brand has finally released the official image of the upcoming Nothing phone 1.
Nothing Phone 1 Design
The images reveal that the smartphone is of higher quality and sports a dual-round camera at back. The device is neither a flash, nor a magnetic accessory power pin, but a silver screw. The front comes with a surface that looks very similar to Samsung’s S22 range.
The only thing that breaks up the otherwise sleek design is a hole-punch selfie camera in the upper center. The bezels around the screen appear to be even, much like they are on iPhones, in contrast to most other Android phones on the market.
Recall that recently, we reported that the brand hosted a 30-minute online event centered solely on the fact that the firm is working on a phone. During the online event, the firm teased a possible back cover design, and since then, Nothing CEO Carl Pei has confirmed that the company is going with a transparent back design, similar to the Ear 1 design.
Nothing Phone 1 Specifications
The anticipated device is expected to boast a 6.43-inch (16.33-cm) immersive display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, allowing you to enjoy viewing videos or playing games in exquisite clarity. Furthermore, the phone is said to sport an 8 GB RAM + 128 GB internal storage configuration.
The phone’s camera specifications are quite remarkable. On the back, the smartphone is expected to include a single camera configuration. It will have 50 MP, 8 MP, and 2 MP cameras, allowing you to take stunning photos. On the front, the phone is said to have a 32-megapixel camera for taking selfies and video calls.
The Nothing Phone (1) is expected to support several connectivities among them are WiFi – 802.11, b/g/n, Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth – v5.0, and 5G supported by the device (network not rolled out in India), 4G (supports Indian bands), 3G, and 2G. Sensors may also include a light sensor, a proximity sensor, and an accelerometer.
Pricing and Launch Date
As per the report, the upcoming Nothing Phone 1 is expected to price at a starting price of Rs 24,999, being India’s first locally made smartphone. Meanwhile, given the varied leaks, the smartphone is said to be unveiled in India by June 23, while other rumors suggested next month, July 12.
