Just a few more days to go – Oculus is all set to introduce a set of new games in its Virtual Reality System Rift on March 28. Rift is a next-generation virtual reality head-mounted display developed and manufactured by Oculus VR.
The VR game is mainly for immersing you into the world of video games – games that take you beyond your reach. The Rift has an OLED display using a state of the art technology and customized optics, including a 90Hz refresh rate and a 110-degree field of view to provide users an incredible experience.
In a blog post, the company announced the list of games that will be available in Oculus and Rift from day one.
“We’re working with thousands of developers on entirely new VR experiences. There are over a hundred more games coming to Oculus this year.”
The Facebook-owned company also introduced the new Oculus Home on Rift. Oculus has been working with worldwide developers for the last year – the newly designed Home lets you explore your library, discover new content, and connect with friends in VR. You will also be able to explore the platform from the Oculus Desktop app, which allows for easy browsing of the latest content on the Oculus store.
VR games have become very popular in the last couple of years – Oculus is working on adding adventure games that give you the feeling like you are in the outer reaches of space or a world of adventure. The post also reports that the company will update Rift every month to improve the Oculus platform and give users the finest gaming experience.
