Something that we are sure of since the beginning of this year is that OnePlus has different plans for the global market. Recently, reports suggested that the company is planning to drop the OnePlus Nord N300 in the US market. It is going to be a device similar to Nord CE and Nord 2T, which are exclusively available for the Indian and European markets.
In a recent development, the smartphone has made its appearance on the FCC certification website. The device carries model number CPH2389 and expectations are that it is going to be a mid-range smartphone. According to the FCC listing, the handset will support multiple 5G bands – n2, n77, n41, n25, n66, and n71.
Until now, not a lot of information regarding the upcoming smartphone is available online. However, we still have an idea of what we can get to see in the upcoming mid-range device by OnePlus via a few rumors.
The smartphone is said to get a display with FHD+ resolution complemented with a 90Hz refresh rate. The high refresh rate will surely help it in delivering a smoother experience while switching tabs and playing animations.
Rumors have it that the smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor but we don’t know which one. According to our wild guess, the device could be seen carrying the Snapdragon 695 processor. With this device, the OnePlus will most probably try to compete with the smartphones under the budget of Rs 25,000.
Apart from that, the device could come with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. It will be based on the Android 11 operating system with Oxygen OS on top. The smartphone could debut in the Canadian and the US market as the cheapest OnePlus handset. It is expected to be priced somewhere around $240 which roughly converts to Rs 19,000.
