The smartphone giant OnePlus is gearing up to launch not only a new smartphone in the Indian market but new wireless earbuds. Although the company has not revealed any details about the launch of either of the devices, a few online sources have confirmed that OnePlus is likely to launch the new OnePlus RT smartphone and the OnePlus Buds Z2 in India in December 2021.
Taking the news of the launch of the devices further, it surfaced on Twitter that OnePlus’s wireless earbuds received the Bluetooth SIG certification and the Indian BIS certification. It only points to the fact that the Buds Z2 will launch in India very soon.
The OnePlus Buds Z2 features 11mm dynamic drivers and comes with Bluetooth v5.2 connectivity. Moreover, the company has also given the earbuds ANC support, which can reduce noise up to 40dB. This will ensure that the users of the earbuds enjoy an enhanced audio experience. In addition to the ANC support for the earbuds, three microphones come with ANC support as well for voice calls.
Notably, the OnePlus Buds Z2 TWS earbuds are IP55-certified; however, the charging case of the Bluetooth earphone has an IPX4 certification. The company claims that the Buds Z2 earbuds are capable of delivering up to 38 hours of battery life on a single charge.
The earbuds are powered by a 40 mAh battery, which is capable of delivering service up to seven hours of playback time. The charging case for the earbuds comes equipped with a 520 mAh battery, and this will help to increase the overall battery life of the device.
OnePlus Buds Z2 comes with touch controls and a transparency mode that will help the users hear background noises whenever they feel like it. The pricing of the earbuds has not been revealed yet.
