Recently, in a small teaser, OnePlus showed parts of the Concept One smartphone, highlighting the essentials. OnePlus has announced Ahead of CES 2020 its Concept One smartphone, a prototype device that the company will be unveiled in full at CES 2020 next week.
According to the official teaser posted by OnePlus, Concept One smartphone will sport an “invisible camera,” and for this, OnePlus has partnered with McLaren, an automotive company. OnePlus has been working with the car company McLaren to integrate the technology into the smartphone. OnePlus has previously worked with the British luxury firm on earlier devices and McLaren offers electrochromic glass as an option in some of its high-end supercars.
According to reports, the camera specs borrowed from the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition: a 48-megapixel primary lens and 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. At the same time, the design of the Concept One is similarly high-end, with a “papaya orange” stitched leather back. As per the highlighting feature, the cameras will disappear from view, however, you may still be able to see a faint outline as the glass transitions from transparent to translucent, rather than being fully invisible or fully opaque.
It’s not clear whether the OnePlus Concept One will feature any other new features, but we will better know it as it launches at CES 2020.
