It may come as a shock to everyone, but OnePlus has confirmed that the company is interested in manufacturing jackets, and as such has asked for its user’s help to create a coach jacket for the company.
OnePlus has lauded its users’ artistic creativity and capacity and likewise will be glad to give its users a platform to use their artistic skills. The smartphone giant is hosting a contest in which the users can participate and design a jacket with the theme of “We and OnePlus.”
Anyone interested in taking a part in the contest can do so by signing up for the contest-related notification, but they need to do that before June 5. After signing up, the users need to download a template for the design, or simply design using the given online tool.
The users have complete freedom to let their creativity and imagination rip and design a coat keeping in mind the theme. Furthermore, they need to upload the design by June 15. The company’s team will look over the submitted designs and pick the top eight. The winner will be chosen from the picked top 8 by the community.
Everyone involved in the competition will receive 200 OnePlus community points. The designers who will make it to the top eight will get 1,000 community points, and get features in OnePlus channels. Lastly, the winner of this contest will receive a limited edition jacket and a trip to the company’s next physical launch event including the flight fare.
The company has not announced what they will do with the designed contest since they did not mention any plans regarding the sale of the jackets. However, since these will be a limited edition jacket, the company will likely make them available to its users.
