Today, the Chinese technology company, OnePlus announced February 17 for unveiling a new smartphone, Nord CE 2 5G.
The information was contained in a video clip shared by the company. Recall that last month, tipster Max Jambor said that OnePlus would launch the Nord CE 2 5G on February 11 at 14:30 CET (13:30 UK time). Still, his information has turned out to be inaccurate as OnePlus India today announced that the Nord CE 2 5G will be unveiled on February 17.
The video clip shared by the Chinese smartphone giant revealed the design of the upcoming Oneplus Nord CE 2 5G.
The smartphone is designed around a screen with a punch hole in the top-left corner and a rectangular island with four circles, one for the flash and the rest for the cameras, wraps around the back.
The camera island’s design differs from what the leaked OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G, formerly known as Nord 2 CE, renders suggested. The film also reveals that the Nord CE 2 5G’s volume keys are on the left side of the frame, while the power button is on the right.
The upcoming Nord CE 2 5G’s specifications are yet to be revealed by OnePlus. However, the company has confirmed that it will support 65W Superwook Fast Charging, 1TB Memory capacity, and include a 3.5mm headphone jack.
On its official Indian website, the smartphone manufacturer has assured to release additional information in the coming days.
According to leaked specifications, the upcoming Nord CE 2 5G will feature a superior camera system, 65W charging, and a 3.5mm headphone port than the Oppo Reno 7 SE 5G.
The last two details have already been confirmed while we wait for more information from OnePlus.
It is reported that OnePlus will also unveil two new smart TVs, the OnePlus TV Y1S and OnePlus TV Y1S Edge, in addition to the Nord CE 2 5G. The bezel-less design, strong gamma engine, and seamless communication with OnePlus’ smartphones, wearables, and headphones are all selling points.
