On August 10, things are going to get better with the new OnePlus Oxygen OS 11, which will provide users with super-smooth performance, clean UI, lightweight, and a ton of customizations. In his recent blog, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau writes,
“On August 10, we’ll be releasing the final developer’s preview build of OxygenOS 11 to give a small group of our most technically-inclined community members a chance to start testing out some of the new features and share feedback with our team. Then once we’ve squashed most of the big bugs and improved overall stability, we’ll release a full open beta to let even more if you try it out. – Pete Lau
OxygenOS 11 will also likely feature always-on display support, along with “some highly anticipated features.” However, this is not the only update to OnePlus. Its very new Hydrogen OS is also expected to be released on that day for the company’s Android Software in China region, both closely related in terms of UI and other core features.
Lau mentions that based on the users’ feedback at their Open Ears Forums and through the IDEAS platform, OnePlus developed these two versions which are to make its appearance in the upcoming OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro over Android 11 version.
