This could be due to the fact that most of the devices that come out with the OnePlus tag automatically bear with it the guarantee of top-tier performance along with longevity.
However, soaring only in the smartphone arena could never be enough, especially in a competition-ridden tech market. Most of the smartphone companies also offer a range of smart products ranging from smartwatches to earbuds. OnePlus too, as per some rumors, had decided to venture into the vast market of smartwatches.
A few weeks ago, there had been a few rumours regarding the design of the dial of the alleged OnePlus smartwatch. Now it looks like the launch of the OnePlus smartwatch is almost official. Previously, the rumoured OnePlus smartwatch had made its appearance on the IMDA certification website.
A little while ago, the OnePlus Watch moniker poked its head on the internet, as the design of the watch received IMDA certification. On September 14, the OnePlus Watch made its appearance on thewebsite of Indian BIS certification which imminently hints that the smartwatch will get launched in India.
It should be kept in mind that a BIS certification does not guarantee a launch. However, its appearance on the BIS website is still a positive mark. As of now, there is no information available as to what to expect from the OnePlus smartwatch, but some specs are sure to make its rounds on the internet as and when the date of launch approaches.
Additionally, on the same certification website, another OnePlus device, a power bank has also made its appearance. We may expect that both of the devices will be launched in India, and they might just get launched at the same time.
