Earlier in 2018, Oppo R17 Pro offered a 50W SuperVOOC charging technology that could charge your smartphone really quick. This kind of technology eases the life of the millennials. It is mesmerizing to see that your phone is fully charged within minutes. Oppo is again making a change in charging technology as it announces its official SuperVOOC 2.0 Fast Charge technology.
Oppo is finally here with its SuperVOOC 2.0 which is a faster version of its predecessor. It is so fast that it can charge our phones (with 4,000 mAh battery) from 0% to 27% within 5 minutes. Furthermore, the phone battery can go 1% to 100% charged within just 30 minutes. Isn’t it just something amazing?
Oppo unveiled this future technology in an official press release where the company mentioned SuperVOOC 2.0 as “the world’s most advanced production charging solution,” which comes “with the ability to fully charge a 4000mAh battery in just 30 minutes”. Oppo’s VP and Global Marketing President Brian Shen had recently announced SuperVOOC 2.0 through a Twitter post.
SuperVOOC 2.0 fast-charging technology comes with Gallium Nitride (GaN) semiconductors that help Oppo to charge the batteries at 65W and save our precious time. This new technology not only shortens the charging time but also reduce the adapter size making it convenient for us to use.
Along with this new technology, Oppo has also announced upgrades for two more of its fast-charging technologies which are – VOOC Flash Charge 4.0 and Wireless VOOC Flash Charge.
Oppo VOOC Flash Charge 4.0 is the upgraded version of the VOOC 3.0 fast-charging technology and is at least 12% faster than the latter one. It comes with most of the Oppo and Realme phones. Oppo VOOC Flash Charge 4.0 supports charging at up to 30W and it lives up to its name as ‘the next-generation Flash Charge solution for users’. It has the ability to fully charge a 4,000mAh battery in about 73 minutes.
Oppo Wireless VOOC Flash Charge can fully recharge a 4,000mAh battery at 30W in about 80 minutes. It has similar features as Xiaomi’s recently announced ‘Mi Charge Turbo’ wireless charging technology.
This new wireless charging technology is compatible with the Qi standard, therefore it can charge any of the smartphones you can think of.
As per the reports, Oppo Reno Ace will be the first one to show off the 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 tech with its release. The smartphone will include a bunch of features like a 90Hz AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset, quad-cameras, oppo supervooc 2.0 etc. Oppo Reno Ace will hit the Chinese market officially on October 10.
We still have to wait and see if the new technology is worthy of our expectations or not. Till then we can only hope for the best.
