Recently, Oppo announced its Oppo A9 with 6GB RAM in China. Now the company has listed a new variant featuring 4GB RAM and 128GB storage on its Chinese online store.
Just like the 6GB variant, the Oppo A9 4GB variant will be available in Mica Green, Jade White, and Fluorite Purple colors. As for the features, the Oppo comes with a 6.53-inch bezel-less full-HD+ waterdrop notch display with a screen-to-body ratio of 90.7 percent. The fifth-gen Corning Gorilla Glass protects the display. Oppo A9 also packs a 4,020mAh battery that can be juiced up using VOOC 3.0 fast charging (20W) technology.
Regarding the camera specs, the Oppo A9 includes a dual-back camera with a 16-megapixel and 2-megapixel lens combinations. On the front, it has a 16-megapixel AI-powered selfie camera onboard.
The phone runs on ColorOS 6.0 based on Android Pie and is powered by an octa-core Helio P70 chipset from MediaTek with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU and comes with GameBoost 2.0.
The Oppo A9 6 GB variant is priced at RMB 1,799 (approximately Rs 18,000) whereas the new 4GB variant will be available at CNY 1,399 (approx Rs 14,340). The new variant will go on sale in China from May 10. There is no confirmation regarding the availability in India.
