Following the release of Android 13 by Google in August this year, Oppo launched the global version of ColorOS 13 based on Android 13. Then, the company shared a timeline stating that it has planned to update more than 35 devices to ColorOS 13 within a year. However, Oppo has officially rolled out the ColorOS 13 beta update on the Reno7 Z 5G and F21 Pro 5G.

As we just confirmed from the Oppo official Twitter page, the latest beta version of ColorOS 13 based on Android 13 has been released to OPPO Reno7 Z 5G in Indonesia and F21 Pro 5G in India, respectively. According to the mobile giant, a quota of 5000 users is set for OPPO Reno7 Z 5G and F21 Pro 5G.

Previously, the Chinese mobile Goliath disclosed that Reno8 5G would be getting ColorOS 13 beta treatment on October 14, whereas the update will be rolled out to F21 Pro users on October 18. Whereas for K10, A96, and A76 users, the update will be available on October 21. But for those who own Reno7 5G, Reno7 Pro 5G, and Reno6 5G, It will be rolling out on October 28.

Oppo Omoji Features

ColorOS 13’s most attractive feature seems to be Omoji. Omoji as per Oppo’s revealings is an ISTJ logistician that allows users to be more focused, organized, diligent, accurate, and responsible. The company describes it to be the master of meticulous details.

OPPO ColorOS13 Beta Key Note

Oppo pointed out that beta versions are more reliable than alpha versions even though they are not official versions. After the beta version’s bugs were fixed, it was released. However, there may still be problems with instability or compatibility. Therefore, Oppo advised users to make a backup of their phone’s vital data before updating to prevent data loss due to compatibility issues or other unforeseen scenarios.

Additionally, Oppo further maintained that the operating system would automatically perform several measures to optimize users’ devices after updating to the most recent Beta version. It could cause the smartphone to heat, lag, and quickly drain its battery. After an update has been successful, they advise users to switch off the screen and let their device charge overnight.

The Android 13 operating system does not support several third-party applications. As a result, updating this application may not be possible, or you may experience technical problems, such as lagging and device crashes. Please attempt to get the most recent version of this program from the App Market, Oppo added.
