Today, December 15, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer OPPO began the live launch conference of the OPPO Find N folding flagship at 16:00.
Recall that on December 9, the OPPO Senior Vice President and Chief Product Officer, Liu Zuohu, officially announced that OPPO Find N would be launched globally on OPPO INNO DAY at 16:00 on December 15.
Reports revealed that the new smartphone, OPPO Find N, has an interior fold design with a 120Hz refresh rate screen and side fingerprints.
It features three cameras on the back. Perforated cameras are used on both the inner and exterior screens. White, black, and gold are at least three color options.
The new smartphone was designed similarly to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, and it is the first foldable flagship smartphone as a result of four years of intense research and development and six generations of prototypes and answers to the future of smartphones.
OPPO iterated dozens of solutions in order to identify the optimum internal and external screen form and came to the conclusion that a genuinely excellent folding screen form should follow two major principles: First, the internal and external screens are both simple to operate: when folded, they are a small screen with sensible proportions; when unfolded, they are a huge screen with straightforward controls. And the folding screen should be comfortable to use.
The interior folding design of the OPPO Find N is combined with an external screen aspect ratio of 18:9. It’s a 7.1-inch horizontal screen that looks like a candy bar and is more in accordance with human visual patterns. The external screen’s edge has a 3D micro-curved shape. To provide a fantastic experience.
The world’s first Seiko pseudo-vertical hinge, with 136 parts and a machining accuracy of up to 0.01 mm, is used in the smartphone. When folded, the screen forms a beautiful drop shape that is seamless and can be hovered freely.
The inside screen of the OPPO Find N is a 120Hz mirror folding screen manufactured of UTG ultra-thin flexible glass that is nearly crease-free. After 200,000 bends, the certified test is still valid. It’s barely 0.03 mm thick but can fold millions of times.
There is no physical harm after being folded 200,000 times in a cold temperature setting of minus 20°C. The screen support is stronger and the creases are shallower thanks to a specially designed ultra-thin stainless steel substrate.
