In the next few weeks, OPPO is expected to unveil its next-generation tablet – the OPPO Pad 2. OPPO entered the tablet market last year, with the launch of OPPO Pad, and later introduced another product in the category, named OPPO Pad Air.

Ahead of the official launch date of the OPPO Pad 2, the tablet was spotted on the Geekbench platform which reveals some of the key specifications. Aside from the leaked OPPO tablet, a new leak has also exposed the first-look images of the upcoming OPPO Pencil 2.

OPPO Pencil 2

The upcoming OPPO Pencil 2 will succeed the OPPO Pencil Stylus which was launched with the OPPO Pad last year. The leaked images show that the OPPO Pencil 2 appearance is similar to the latest OnePlus Stylo. Unfortunately, the detailed specifications and functional parameters of the stylus are not yet revealed.

However, THEGOANDROID reported that the model of OPPO Pencil 2 is OPD2201, unlike the original model which is OPN2101. As per the report, the new tablet pencil is expected to be launched simultaneously with OPPO Pad 2 in the coming weeks. Currently, the stylus has now appeared on the Bluetooth SIG certification website.

The OPPO Pad 2 Tablet

The Geekbench listing reveals that the OPPO Pad 2 tablet will come powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Although the precise model hasn’t been revealed, it’s most likely a Snapdragon 888. The tablet was able to achieve 1,160 points in the single-core test and 3,186 points in the multi-core test on Geekbench 6.

The listing also states that the OPPO Pad 2 will come pre-installed with Android 13 and, most likely, the ColorOS bespoke UI. The device used for the benchmarking test had Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity and 8GB of RAM.

Earlier rumors indicated that the tablet would include an 11-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2800 x 2000 pixels, a refresh rate of 144 Hz, compatibility with HDR10+, and Dolby Vision. Also, a 9,500mAh battery with 67W rapid charging capabilities is touted to power the device. While the launch date is not yet revealed, the duo devices are expected to go official later this month or early April.
