Oppo has finally revealed a series of information regarding its new flagship, the R15, on its official website. The company, which had received the patent for designing a full-screen that resembles the iPhone X ‘bangs’ screen back in September 2017, is going to launch the design in its latest flagship.
The Oppo R15 features a 6.28-inch, 19:9 Super-V full-screen display, with the screen covering up to 90% of the phone’s anterior and bezels as narrow as 1.78 mm. The ‘bang’ above the screen houses the front camera and a number of sensors. The 1080 x 2290 pixel AMOLED display comes safely protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, while the body may be made of metal.
The phone may be powered either by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 or 670. With its horizontal dual camera setup, the device features a 16 MP + 20 MP Dual Primary camera and a 24 MP front camera with LED flashes. Its octa-core processor clocks at 2.2 GHz. The R15 is equipped with 6GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage, expandable up to 256 GB. The device is expected to run on Android 8.1 Oreo and feature a 3300 mAh battery.
