Last month was an exciting moment for OPPO Chinese users as the brand unveiled the OPPO Reno 10 Series smartphones in the market. The devices, which include OPPO Reno 10, Reno 10 Pro, and the Reno 10 Pro+, come with the latest mobile technologies and fascinating features.
Now, the mobile brand has confirmed the devices will be launched in India and other markets next month, Jully. This is contained in a recent tweet from Abhishek Yadav, where he teased the launching image with the caption: “The New Portrait Expert is Coming.”
In another report, 91Mobiles also confirmed the device will be introduced in India next month without revealing a particular date. According to the outlet, the OPPO Reno 10 series will have a different processor, design, and camera compared to the Chinese variant.
It is said that the vanilla Reno 10 will come with MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset compared to Snapdragon 778G SoC. The Reno 10 Pro model even will be powered by Snapdragon 778G processor. Since we are still speculating on the design and specs, let us look at the Chinese variant to know what we will be expecting.
The Chinese variant of the Reno 10 Pro+ pack the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC processor, while the Reno 10 and Reno 10 Pro models have Snapdragon 778G SoC and Snapdragon 778G processor, respectively.
It is said that the Reno 10 Pro+ will be the only model in the Reno 10 series which will come with a telephoto camera. The device is tipped to offer support for 100W fast charging. The Reno 10 and the Reno 10 Pro offers 80W fast charging support, and the same charging speed could be offered for the India variant too.
The other key specifications of the Reno 10 series are likely to remain the same as that of the Chinese variants. This can be seen from the display with a 6.74-inch curved OLED display, 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 1400 nits peak brightness, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and a DCI-P3 color gamut.
Coming to the storage battery, we are expecting different variants ranging from 16GB RAM to 256GB/512GB storage and more. While a 4,600mAh of 80W fast charging for the Reno 10 Pro and a 4,700mAh with 100W fast charging support for the Reno 10 Pro+.
In terms of the optical, we anticipate a 50MP Sony IMX 890 sensor, f/1.8 aperture, OIS, 32MP Sony IMX709 telephoto lens, f/2.0 aperture, 2x optical zoom, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, f/2.2 aperture (Reno 10), 50MP Sony IMX 890 sensor, f/1.8 aperture, OIS, 64MP telephoto lens, f/2.0 aperture, 2x optical zoom, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, f/2.2 aperture (Reno 10).
