The OPPO Reno13 has just been announced in its product launch conference and it promises to be a significant upgrade. For now, it has only been announced in China, however, we are likely to see it being announced in India as well. Currently, the OPPO Reno comes in two models: the OPPO Reno13 and the OPPO Reno13 Pro, each being equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 processor, offering powerful performance for a wide range of applications.
Design and Display
The Reno13 model flaunts a stunning 1.5k OLED straight screen, while the Pro version ups the ante with a four-curved masterpiece. Both models also feature a metal middle frame, which enhances durability and gives a premium feel to the phone. Auto screen brightness is achieved without the flicker effect that is often responsible for eye strain and headaches thanks to 3840Hz ultra-high frequency PWM dimming integral to all Reno13 models. The model also has a glass case in addition to the metal frame and this gives the Reno13 a modern appealing look. Different color options such as purple, black, and light blue were also added to the range of colors available for the Reno13.

Memory and Storage
The Reno13 comes with several choices, it starts with the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration on the lower end and goes up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB. The base model of Reno13 has a 50 MP camera at the front using a Sony IMX882 sensor and an 8MP ultra wide-angle camera on the camera setup. The Pro model has the same front camera as the other models however it uses a Sony IMX890 sensor and has both an 8MP ultra wide-angle camera as well as a 50MP periscope telephoto camera using a Samsung JN1 sensor. Other features include an upgrade in battery capacity from the 5600mAH normal to a 5800mAH capable of 80W fast charging and 50W wire-less charging.
Pricing and Availability
Equally impressive tech but at very competitive costs — that’s what the OPPO Reno13 series brings to the market in various models. The base version Reno13 is available at different ranges with the price spanning between 2,699 yuan (about ₹31,389) and 3,799 yuan (about ₹44,181). The Reno13 Pro on the other hand starts at 3,399 yuan (about ₹39,529) and goes up to 4,499 yuan (about ₹52,322). Should OPPO keep its launch schedule constant, these two should make it to the Indian market by January or February of next year; these dates should be in sync with the company’s previous plans.
