At an event in Beijing, Oppo launched its Oppo Reno smartphone today. The Reno sports three rear cameras. The third camera from the top appears to be the 10x sensor, which seems similar to what we saw during MWC 2019.
The smartphone is released in two new versions; the standard model that has a dual rear camera, and also the high-end phone that has a triple lens camera. It has a 48-megapixel rear camera with a Sony IMX 586 sensor, 8 megapixel super wide angle lenses and 13-megapixel periscope lens.
The main highlight of this smartphone is the capabilities of the camera. The high-end model includes 10X optical zoom option technology. The Reno features a 6.6-inch AMOLED display, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, at least 6GB of RAM, at least 128GB of storage, and a 48-megapixel primary camera.
There is also a pop-up selfie camera on the Aco Reno, which is called the Appo Sharkfin Design. Also, it is said to have 93.1% Screen to Body ratio with Android Pi based Color OS 6 and Panoramic Stream with 93.1%. Besides, it is noted that the VOOC 3.0 speed charging technology will be provided.
As for the build, Oppo is touting the use of glass to provide two textures on the Oppo Reno body, thanks to an AG matte sanding process. The 3D curved glass of the rear panel will also have no camera bumps, as claimed by the company. The 10x Zoom Edition will also sport Dual GPS technology.
Talking about the pricing, the OPPO Reno 10x zoom variant with 6GB + 128GB and 6GB + 256GB is priced at CNY 3999 (approx Rs. 41,194) and CNY 4499 (approx RS.46,344) respectively. Whereas, the standard variant with 6GB + 128GB and 6GB + 256GB is priced at CNY 299 (approx RS.3, 080) and CNY 3299 (approx Rs. 33,984) respectively.
