New renders and a leaked video of Oppo’s upcoming Reno product series are circulating around the web, which seems to depict a fin-shaped pop-up selfie camera, described as a motorized ‘peeking shooter.’
Thanks to SlashLeaks user DIMITRI12, we also get to know that the Oppo Reno series might possibly contain a dual rear camera in vertical alignment along with an assigned space on the top of the phone that we can presume is for the shark-fin-shaped pop-up front camera mechanism. This would automatically get activated when the user switches to the front camera mode.
Moreover, the leak also suggests that the Reno series would come with a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB-C port at the bottom of the device, along with an under-display fingerprint reader that is presupposed from the visible absence of any fingerprint sensor on the rear. The device may come equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor, heat-conducting gel, and graphite sheet for heat discharge.
The renders are indicative of the smartphones containing the volume rocker on the left of the device and the power button on the right.
The Oppo Reno series is supposed to include an almost bezel-less full-screen display, including a motorized slider mechanism and excluding a display notch.
The Oppo Reno series has been confirmed to be unveiled on April 10 in consonance with Oppo’s assurance to deliver a brand-new product concept, design philosophy, and communication model.
