Amidst all the stock market crashes and quarantined countries, PayPal is working on strengthening its user experience while using the app. The recent developments are also taking into consideration the fact that most people have gone cashless, purchasing things through online payment platforms, maybe it is time they start a direct transaction option.
Jane Manchun Wong, Twitter famous for bringing into spotlight new developments taking place in apps, finding out hidden features in them, tweeted about the possible new development taken by PayPal.
She tweeted that PayPal is working on in-store purchases payment preferences, and posted a screenshot of the same. Users can list the in-store purchases as their main preference once this new feature has been tested out and rolled out by the company. However this new feature might seem like, the feature is not alien to its German users. PayPal in Germany already offers its users the option of paying using the PayPal account through the Google Pay system.
Furthermore, Wong has tweeted that PayPal is working on its automatic payments page simultaneously. The automatic payments page will help to keep track of the recurring payments made through PayPal, making it easier for the user to keep track of their subscriptions or billings. This new feature sounds a lot like what PayTm is offering in India, or what Google Pay does, which is keeping track of the payments made through those apps.
It is unclear yet when these new developments will see worldwide light of day. In all probability, PayPal might make the features public soon after beta testing it.
