PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is a multiplayer game especially famous among youngsters. Recently the 5.1 patches for the PUBG PC were announced, and it seems like the clan system will be introduced into the game during this, as suspected by many.

PUBG clan system was already introduced for mobile players back in July 2018. Some of the leaks indicate that PUBG may get a clan system update in its next patch.

Clan system for PUBG on computers

A data miner recently reported through a leak hinting that the clan on PUBG PC may accommodate 20 players in each clan. Like the mobile version, players have to pay a cost to set up a clan in the PUBG computer version. In order to set up a clan, a player had to spend 50,000 gold coins in the PUBG Mobile. However, the exact cost for the PC version is at least 5000 BPs as per rumor.

A new rank mode may be linked to the game along with the update. The clan name could have 2 to 15 characters and the tag should also have a name consisting of 2 to 4 characters.

Other than these, a slogan with a maximum of 30 characters and 180 characters of the presentation can also be added. The players can submit their resumes containing their in-game status while applying for any clan. We are not sure how it will work but the assumption that the resume and recruitment options will be kind of is similar to the mobile version of the game.

However, a ‘no clan’ label was found in the game’s leader board, indicating that the clan system could be a part of the game’s new ranked mode; but the recruit and resume section seems to be added more recently. We still not have any updates regarding the arrival date of the clan system mode on PUBG PC. The developers are yet to comment against the rumors, but we hope the new clan system will get into the game soon. Let’s wait and watch what more it has to offer.
