Sony provided a sneak peek at a few of the Digital Collectibles that will be offered through its free PlayStation Stars loyalty program during its September State of Play. PlayStation Stars will allow users to get prizes by completing a range of activities and tasks.
Punto from Ape Escape 2, a PlayStation 3, a PocketStation, Polygon Man, and other instances were among the examples of Digital collectibles showcased during the State of Play.
PlayStation Stars Loyalty Program
Members of PlayStation Stars will be able to collect loyalty points. Points could well be exchanged for items from a catalog that includes PSN wallet money and possibly certain PlayStation Store goods. Additionally, PlayStation Plus subscribers who have signed up for PlayStation Stars immediately receive points for any purchases made at the PlayStation Store.

PlayStation Stars loyalty program is the only way to get digital collectibles, and anyone can sign up for it on the official website. Occasionally, collectibles will be given out for accomplishing campaigns and as a means to honor previous endeavors, successes, or product purchases. They will vary in uniqueness, depending on the origin and the extent of effort involved to obtain them.
After acquiring collectibles, users may arrange them in a digital showcase using the PlayStation App. Additionally, players may also opt to allow friends to view their collectibles via their PSN profile.
Playstation Stars campaigns to begin this month
The PlayStation Stars campaign might be a way to gain points or collectibles. In one of the early campaigns, “Hit Play/1994,” participants who successfully select games that correspond to musically-based hints will be awarded a special collectible.
Beginning this month, PlayStation Stars will first launch in Asia; North America and Europe will follow at a later time. Registration for PlayStation Stars remains free and will debut on the PlayStation App first before eventually moving to the console platform.
