Earlier this year, POCO announced the POCO C51, the flagship device of its latest C-series in the Indian market. The device being a mid-range smartphone boosts an excellent feature as it is powered by a MediaTek Helio G36 processor and comes in a single storage of 4GB + 64GB.
While the device continues to win the hearts of many mid-range users, the brand has come to enhance its experience by unveiling a new storage variant of 6GB + 128GB in the market. POCO announced the new C51 6GB + 128GB Variant in a marketing banner we spotted from the tipster, Mukul Sharma.
Unlike the old 4GB + 64GB model, the new POCO C51 6GB + 128GB variant is introduced to enrich users’ experiences with fresh technological mobile improvements. While they shared some similar features, the new variant stood out in terms of storage capacity. Now, let’s look at what the device tends to offer.
POCO C51 Full Specs
Just like the old model, the new POCO C51 6GB + 128GB variant comes with a 6.52-inch LCD display, HD+ (1600 × 720 pixels) resolution, 400 nits brightness, a 60 Hz refresh rate, a 120 Hz touch sampling rate, a 1500:1 contrast ratio, and a water drop notch.
Under the hood, an Octa-core MediaTek Helio G36 processor with an IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU powered the device, while 2GB/4GB LPDDR4X RAM, 64/128GB eMMC 5.1 storage, up to 5GB extended RAM, and a dedicated micro-SD card slot also featured therein.
Coming to the optical separation, an 8MP primary camera, with a secondary lens, and an LED flash boosts the new POCO C51, while the front camera has a 5MP. A 5000mAh battery supporting 10W charging, and a micro-USB port fuelled the device. For ultimate security, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner backs the device.
Other features of the smartphones include Android 13 (Go Edition) with two years of security updates, MIUI dialer, 165.9 × 76.75 × 9.09mm dimensions, 192 grams of weight, 3.5mm audio jack audio, splash-proof design, and support for multiple connectivity options like dual-SIM, 4G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4 GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, Glonass, and BeiDou.
Pricing and Availability
As we spotted in the marketing banner shared by the tipster, the new POCO C51 6GB + 128GB variant will go official in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 8,099 and will be available in Royal Blue and Power Black color options.
According to the brand, the smartphone will be available for purchase starting at 12:00 PM, September 6 exclusively via Flipkart. However, as a launch offer, the brand is offering a 10% (Rs 900) discount through Credit and Debit Card transactions in partnership with SBI Bank.
