POCO Global announced its social media channels, and the unveiling is set to take place at an event in Singapore. While previous leaks have already given us a candid glimpse into the upcoming devices, the official launch event is expected to provide a complete and detailed analysis of their design, features, and market positioning.
Specifications and Features
From the POCO F7 Series, both the POCO F7 Pro and POCO F7 Ultra will sport a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 2K resolution (3200 x 1440 pixels to be exact). This display will support a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness of up to 3200 nits, ideal for both outdoor usage and gaming enthusiasts.
The device will also feature Corning Gorilla Glass protection for added durability. Both devices will run on the HyperOS 2, based on Android 15, which is expected to provide a smooth user experience with improved animations, better power management, and enhanced security features.
In terms of processing power, the POCO F7 Pro is expected to be a rebranded version of the Redmi K80, making use of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The F7 Ultra variant on the other hand will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.

This makes it so that both devices can handle demanding tasks, such as high-performance gaming and multitasking; while the 8 Elite processor provides even better performance, prioritizing top-tier speed and efficiency. Battery-wise, the F7 Pro comes with a capacity of 6,000 mAh and 90W fast charging, while the F7 Ultra has a 5,300 mAh battery with 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging support.
POCO has confirmed that both the F7 Pro and F7 Ultra will be available in a variety of colors, including a black and yellow variant for the F7 Ultra, while the F7 Pro will launch in black and silver colors. The devices will also feature an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, an essential feature present in all flagship smartphones.
Camera Capabilities
Poco is well known for shipping its smartphones with high-quality cameras, and the POCO F7 series is no exception. The POCO F7 Pro is said to feature a triple camera setup, consisting of a 50MP Light Fusion 800 main sensor with Optical Image Stabilization(OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a front-facing 20MP camera.

The F7 Ultra, on the other hand, will supposedly come with a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP telephoto lens, a 32MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 32MP front camera. These configurations that the company has issued suggest that both handsets will cater to users who have a knack for photography, allowing for the capture of high-quality images in various lighting conditions.
Pricing and Launch Expectations
The upcoming launch of the F7 series may cause a decent shake-up in the smartphone market, as both devices offer high-end specifications at a price that is likely to undercut many of the competitors.

Earlier leaks had suggested that the POCO F7 Pro could be priced at around 599 Euros, bringing the cost to around 57,000 INR. The F7 Ultra was also rumored to have a price of 749 Euros, or 71,000 INR. The company has not, however, provided any details on the price, and currently, much of it is up for speculation.
Furthermore, POCO has hinted that the F7 may launch in India in Q2 of 2025. The base POCO F7 is also rumored to feature the upcoming Snapdragon 8s Elite chipset, making it a possible and powerful contender in the mid-to-premium smartphone segment.
