Poco, the smartphone manufacturer, announced last year that it would emerge as an independent brand at the soonest. The company has delivered on the promise, and on March 6th, the company finally launched its dedicated Poco Store app.
Poco severed its partnership with Xiaomi last November. Since the announcement, no Poco products are listed on the official Xiaomi store site. Thereby, Poco had to develop its own version of a store app on the Google Play Store. Poco named it the Poco Store app.
Although the app seems to be up and running, the same cannot be said of the website of the same. The web versions of the Poco community and the Poco Store are still in their developing stages as of now.
Keeping this in mind, it should be mentioned that the app is not in its final form, in the sense that it is not fully refined. Recently, from a Q&A session, the company took inputs from users for their new community. The company also gave a trace of features that users can expect in the future.
After months of its release, no mobile support has been provided on either front of the sites. The app’s layout comes with a dark theme that is closely associated with Poco’s signature yellow. The layout of the app isn’t too different from the existing Mi Store app.
As of now, the Poco Store App is not available in all the regions because, as mentioned above, the app is still in its development stage. The Poco app is available in four languages, and regions including Spain, Italy, France and Indonesia. India is yet to receive the app.
A few of the users who have checked the app out contend that the app appears to be pretty sophisticated. However, since the app is still in its initial stages, users might expect bugs.
