Sony lately announced its RX100 VII card camera, also known as “black card 7“. It is another premium camera sporting the same lens and physical appearance of its predecessor Sony RX100 VI. Now, the company has announced the domestic price of the new Sony Black Card 7.
Sony black card 7 will come with a newly developed 1-inch Exmor RS CMOS stack image sensor to deliver autofocus and tracking performance that, according to Sony, is in the same ballpark as the pro-grade a9.
Sony RX100 VII has the same long zoom as the last year’s VI. The camera comes with vertical video shooting, which is more convenient for vloggers as it provides for vertical screen viewing. It also has an optically stabilized lens that removes shakes and jitters from 4K video.
As per the design, it has the same pop-up EVF and tilting touch LCD as the last model. With most of the similarity like its predecessor it also adds a 3.5mm microphone input, a first for the series. The Sony RX100 VII card camera also includes Bluetooth and Wi-Fi for on-the-go transfer to your smartphone.
The camera has the fastest focusing speed with 20 high-speed continuous shooting without a black screen by 60 AF/AE tracking detection times per second. It weighs about 302 g with 357 Focal Plane Phase Detection Focus and 425 Contrast Detection Focuses.
As for the pricing, the camera will come with a price tag of 8699 yuan (approx Rs. 87,394) in its domestic market. Sony Black Card 7 will be available in August.
