The Moto Z2 Play is one of Motorola’s 2017 Mid-Flagship smartphone. The device has aluminum and glass unibody build along with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Front. The smartphone is also Splash and dust resistant compliant.
The Moto Z2 Play smartphone has LTE Advanced antennas, with Dual SIM capability support for Nano-SIMs. The Moto Z2 Play display features 5.5 inches Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen (1080 x 1920 pixels resolution). The Moto Z2 Play specifications come pre-installed with Android 7.1.1 Nougat (now upgradable to Android 9.0 Pie). As for the processor, the Moto Z2 Play has Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 Octa-Core chipset combined with Adreno 506 GPU. The Moto Z2 Play RAM comes in 3GB and 4GB variants, while the available storage space memory comes in 32GB and 64GB capacity with the ability to expand storage through SD card.
The Moto Z2 Play Camera features a single 12-megapixel f/1.7 main sensor with support for 1080p/4K recording capability at both 30 FPS and 60 FPS and has Laser AF, Dual Pixel PDAF. It also has HDR, panoramic, and Portrait Mode for the rear camera. The Moto Z2 Play Camera also has Burst mode, 720p@120fps slow-motion recording. As for the front camera, Moto Z2 Play features a 5MP f/2.2 front snapper. For night shots it has dual-tone flash on the rear.
In the area of connectivity, Moto Z2 Play features Bluetooth (4.2), WiFi (802.11 a/b/g/n), with NFC and 3.5mm audio jack support. Moto Z2 Play sensors include Fingerprint (front-mounted), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass sensors, and the device has dimensions of 156.2 x 76.2 x 6 mm and gets a Non-removable Li-Ion 3000 mAh battery with 15W fast-charging support. The Moto Z2 Play colors are available in Lunar Gray, Fine Gold, and Nimbus Blue.
