The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star is one of Samsung’s 2018 Mid Range smartphone. The device has aluminum and glass unibody build along with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Front and Back. The device has an 18.5:9 aspect ratio and Samsung Experience 9 UX.

The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star smartphone has LTE Advanced antennas, with Dual SIM capability support for Nano-SIMs. The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star display features 6.3 inches Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen (1080 x 2220 pixels resolution). The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star specifications come pre-installed with Android 8.0 Oreo (now upgradable to Android 9.0 Pie). As for the processor, the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset combined with Adreno 512 GPU. The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star RAM comes in 4GB and 6GB, while the available storage space memory comes in 64GB capacity with the ability to expand storage through SD card.

The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star Camera features dual rear sensors, one being a 16-megapixel f/1.7 resolution shooter while the other being a 24MP f/1.7 sensor with support for 4K/1080p recording at 30 FPS. It also has Portrait Mode, HDR and panoramic mode for the rear camera. As for the front camera, Samsung Galaxy A8 Star features a 24MP f/2.0 front snapper. For night shots it has a single-tone LED flash on the rear.

In the area of connectivity, Samsung Galaxy A8 Star features Bluetooth (5.0), WiFi (dual-band and 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), with 3.5 mm audio jack and NFC support.
