Samsung Galaxy S8

The Samsung Galaxy S8 is one of Samsung’s 2017 Best Flagship smartphone. The device has aluminum and glass unibody build, and support for IP68 dust/water-resistance. The model has a similar design to Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus although in a much small form factor.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphone has LTE Advanced antennas, with Dual SIM capability support for Nano-SIMs. The Samsung Galaxy S8 display features 5.8 inches Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen (1440 x 2960 pixels resolution). The Samsung Galaxy S8 specifications come pre-installed with Android 7.1.1 Nougat (now upgradable to Android 9.0 Pie). As for the processor, the Samsung Galaxy S8 has Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Octa-Core chipset combined with Adreno 540 GPU or Exynos 8895 CPU with Mali-G71 MP20 GPU (depending on the region availability). The Samsung Galaxy S8 RAM is 4GB, while the available storage space memory comes in 64GB capacity with the ability to expand storage through SD card.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 Camera features a single 12-megapixel f/1.7 resolution sensor, with 1080p/4K recording capability at both 30 FPS and 60 FPS. The sensor has OIS and six lens protection. It also has HDR and panoramic mode for the rear camera. The Samsung Galaxy S8 Camera also has Burst mode, 720p@240fps slow-motion recording. As for the front camera, Samsung Galaxy S8 features an 8MP f/1.7 front snapper. For night shots it has dual-tone flash on the rear.

In the area of connectivity, Samsung Galaxy S8 features Bluetooth (5.0), WiFi (Dual-band and 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), NFC with a 3.5 mm audio jack support. Samsung Galaxy S8 sensors include Iris scanner, fingerprint (rear-mounted), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, barometer, heart rate, SpO2, and the device has dimensions of 148.9 x 68.1 x 8 mm and gets a Non-removable Li-Ion 3000 mAh battery with 15W fast-charging support. The Samsung Galaxy S8 colors are available in Midnight Black, Orchid Gray, Arctic Silver, Coral Blue, Maple Gold, Rose Pink, and Burgundy Red.
