Xiaomi Mi 8

Xiaomi Mi 8 is one of Xiaomi’s 2018 Flagship smartphone. The device has a unibody Aluminum (7000 series) and Glass build. The model also has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Front & Back protection and Infrared face recognition.

The Xiaomi Mi 8 smartphone has LTE Advanced antennas, with Dual SIM capability support for Nano-SIMs. The Xiaomi Mi 8 display features 6.21 inches Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen (1080 x 2248 pixels resolution). The Xiaomi Mi 8 specifications come pre-installed with Android 8.1 Oreo (now upgradable to Android 9.0 Pie). As for the processor, the Xiaomi Mi 8 has Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Octa-Core chipset combined with Adreno 630 GPU. The Xiaomi Mi 8 RAM comes in 6GB and 8GB variants while the available storage space memory comes in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB capacity with the ability to expand storage through SD card.

The Xiaomi Mi 8 Camera features dual-rear cameras, one being a 12-megapixel f/1.8 main sensor while the other being a 12MP f/2.4 telephoto 2X Zoom lens with support for 2160p recording at 30 FPS and has dual-pixel PDAF, OIS. It also has HDR, Panoramic and Portrait mode for the rear camera. As for the front camera, Xiaomi Mi 8 features a 20MP f/2.0 front snapper. For night shots it has dual-tone flash on the rear.

In the area of connectivity, Xiaomi Mi 8 features Bluetooth (5.0), WiFi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and dual-band), with NFC support. Xiaomi Mi 8 has dimensions of 154.9 x 74.8 x 7.6 mm and gets a Non-removable Li-Ion 3400 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The Xiaomi Mi 8 colors are available in Black, Blue, White, and Gold.
