Xiaomi Redmi 5 is one of Xiaomi’s 2018 Budget smartphones. The device has a unibody Aluminum and plastic build. The model also has Corning Gorilla Glass Front protection and Active noise cancellation with dedicated mic.

The Xiaomi Redmi 5 smartphone has LTE Advanced antennas, with Dual SIM capability support for Nano-SIMs. The Xiaomi Redmi 5 display features 5.7 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen (720 x 1440 pixels resolution). The Xiaomi Redmi 5 specifications come pre-installed with Android 7.1.2 Nougat. As for the processor, the Xiaomi Redmi 5 has Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 Octa-Core chipset combined with Adreno 506 GPU.
