PUBG has launched the 15.1 update patch, and it is currently available on test servers. In an official Twitter post, PUBG announced, “We welcome our new and improved Sanhok Bootcamp, Weapon Balancing changes, and for our triathlete lovers, the Mountain Bike.”
In the new patch, PUBG has decided to change the map rotation service for Season 15 to Normal Match, Erangel / Miramar / Sanhok / Taego / Vikendi, Ranked, and Erangel / Miramar / Taego. The company has decided to exclude Haven from the rotation as it might cause stability issues.
The new patch also introduces a new vehicle, the Mountain Bike, which will be a lootable item. This item will be placed on the outskirts of the map and will offer the players a stealthy movement. The Mountain Bike can carry only one passenger at a time, and one of its major advantages is that this vehicle cannot be destroyed. The players can choose to sprint on the Mountain Bike. The bike also increases the jump height of the players.
The new patch also has made changes to weapon balance. The P90 now offers an increased recoil difficulty and supplies less ammo. The shotguns have an improved effective range, the LMGs have an increased damage potential, and the MG3s are more powerful.
For the Sanhok map, the patch offers a new Bootcamp with an improved structure. The central tower has been moved from the center to the right, instead of the parapet walls, now there are boxes made of stone on the rooftops, the size of the windows is now smaller, and much more changes have occurred in Bootcamp.
PUBG has also collaborated with KAKAO FRIENDS. What was previously known as Dino Land has now been transformed into KAKAO FRIENDS land. Since the holiday season is near, the Christmas theme has been applied to Dinoland. Players can use the Christmas weather setting in Custom Matches for Vikendi.
The new patch also contains several bug fixes in the gameplay and in the Sanhok map.
