PUBG Mobile can now be updated to version 0.9.5 starting this week on Android and iOS devices, and the latest update is ushering in with itself Royale Pass Season 4, which also happens to be Tencent’s answer to Fortnite’s Battle Pass. The Royale Pass Season 4 will help players complete daily and weekly missions, earn points and increase their rank, which will help them gain more in-game currency and crates filled with cosmetic items. PUBG Mobile Royale Pass Season 4 shall add more firearm finishes, rare outfits, new character faces, and hairstyles in addition to mission cards, and a Black Friday sales event.
The PUBG Mobile 0.9.5 update includes the addition of M762 automatic rifle, available in all maps; new Sanhok vehicle- Scoote; dynamic weather to Sanhok; hardcore mode to provide the same experience as PC. It has also increased the odds of certain crate drops. The update is 214.91 MB.
According to data agency SensorTower, PUBG Mobile is dominating Asia and China; since it is available on Android as well as on iOS. As for the US, it is only making up 30 percent of PUBG’s revenue. This means that PUBG is gain, while Fortnight loses; more so in markets with comparatively less demand for PCs, consoles, or iOS devices due to their premium prices or personal preference, as in the Asian market, where Android is ruling supreme.
Additionally, PUBG Mobile is consistently bringing new features to the game and providing updates ranging from visual improvements and the Royale Pass to major seasonal events. It is also very well optimized to the point where the game runs brilliantly even on budget smartphones. Fortnite on iOS, on the other hand, although serviceable, doesn’t run as smoothly as it could on anything other than the latest hardware from Apple.
