Qualcomm is a USA based multinational semiconductor and telecommunications equipment company that invents breakthrough technologies to improve global communication.
As always, it has come with a new impressive technology called L2Pro India IP in order to spread awareness among the startups, small companies and the innovators regarding the intellectual property (IP). Qualcomm Incorporated and other authorities announced the program on October 14, 2019.
This L20Pro program is specially designed by the company for the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, university students and startups in India and will help them to bring their innovations quickly to market.
This will also allow them to deeply understand the IP domain, use of patents and copyrighting facilities, develop trademarks, integrate IP considerations into company business models, obtain value from research and development efforts, and more.
Through a blog post, Alex Rogers, the executive vice president and president of Qualcomm Technology Licensing, commented:

As it was reported, Qualcomm also collaborated with DPIIT to develop an animation movie to train school students on the fundamentals of IP and was launched by the Minister for Commerce and Industry on March 8th, 2019. It is now being used by CIPAM for various purposes.
The company also launched similar programs in Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy and France; all of them received positive results. Therefore, it is also expecting the same results from India.
This platform will have 11 modules for three different levels: basic, intermediate and advanced. Each of the modules will cover various topics, e. g. e-text for understanding concepts, short animated videos of the concepts, links to additional resources on the subject and quizzes for assessment and grading the learner’s knowledge and understanding of the subject.
The IP learning platform can be accessed by desktops, mobile browsers, and a mobile app. The learners will also be given a joint e-certificates by CIPAM, NLUD, and Qualcomm after completing the program successfully.
Qualcomm Incorporated will conduct this program in collaboration with the Cell for IPR Promotion and Management of the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Government of India and the Centre for Innovation, Intellectual Property and Competition at National Law University Delhi.
