MediaTek announced the Helio G96 chipset. According to IT Home News, this new SoC’s first device has been revealed.
The machine is known as the realme 8i and will be available in India alongside the Realme 8s. The official renderings have been made public as well.
According to the official rendering, the realme 8i has a perforated screen in the upper left corner, smaller screen borders on all sides, and three back cameras. According to IT Home, other primary configurations of the system have also been uncovered, in addition to the Helio G96 chip.
According to reports, the realme 8i will have a 6.59-inch FHD + display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a 16-megapixel selfie camera in the upper left corner. On the rear of the machine is a 50-megapixel main camera, with a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel macro camera on both sides.
The realme 8i will be equipped with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It’s composed of plastic and has a 5000 mAh battery built-in. The phone is 194 grams and 8.6 millimeters thick.
A fingerprint scanner is incorporated in the power button, a 3.5 mm headphone socket at the bottom, and a USB-C interface next to it.
The Realme 8i and Realme 8s smartphones, which are new additions to the Realme 8 series, will be available in India soon. The Realme 8 series now consists of three models: the standard Realme 8, the Realme 8 Pro, and the Realme 8 5G. The business will now release two new smartphones in India, the Realme 8i and Realme 8s; however, one of them may be released ahead of the other.
Nothing official about the two phones has been announced as of yet, though some information about the Realme 8s has been leaked.
In the most recent edition of Ask Madhav on YouTube, Realme CEO Madhav Sheth answered a few queries and revealed that more Realme 8 series phones are in the works.
Sheth then asked fans if they wanted to first see the Realme 8i or the Realme 8s. Aside from that, no further details regarding the phones were revealed. At this time, the Realme 8i is a complete mystery, however, a recent leak has revealed what could be the Realme 8s.
