As we reported last week, the Chinese mobile giant, Realme, has affirmed that it is working on unveiling a new Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition after the GT 2 and GT 2 Pro.
Now, the mobile giant has fixed July 7 for the official rollout of the new device, as we just confirmed in a tweet from the popular reliable mobile leakers. The new Realme GT 2 Master Explorer will be the third family series of the GT 2 series.
Previously, we reported that the smartphone was spotted on the Geekbench website ahead of the official launch, with the latest flagship chip – the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and runs on Android 12 with 12GB RAM.
Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Specification
The new smartphone comes with the model number RMX3551, scored 1296 and 4211 on Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests, respectively, and runs Android 12 out of the box, with a layer of Realme UI 3.0 on top.
The device features a flat 6.7-inch 10802400 120 Hz AMOLED display with a hole punch in the center for the 16 MP selfie camera. A triple camera system with two 50 MP sensors (wide + ultrawide) and a 2 MP depth sensor is mounted to the back.
Furthermore, the smartphone is equipped with Qualcomm’s latest CPU, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, as well as 4/6/8GB of RAM and 128/256/512GB of non-expandable storage.
As per the reports, the device will be available in three colors: white, brown, and green, and it has a fingerprint sensor on the display as well as a 5,000 mAh battery that charges at 100W to keep the lights on, and measures 161.3 x 74.3 x 8.2 mm and weighs 199g.
Pricing and Launching
As it stands now, the mobile brand has not revealed any launching price yet, although the earlier series were launched at around Rs. 34,000 as starting pricing. Thus, the new should be a little bit more or start from the same pricing.
